International Industry Coordinator
£13.50/hour
Closing Date 14 April 2025
Fixed Term, Full Time
About Us
Edinburgh’s Festivals are world-class cultural assets for Scotland with an international reputation and appeal unmatched by any other cultural event on the globe. They are distinctively Scottish and yet profoundly international.
Festivals Edinburgh is the high-level organisation, created and driven by the directors of those festivals. Our mission is simple - to work collaboratively to maintain and develop Edinburgh’s position as a world leading sustainable festival city.
About the Role
Momentum is an international delegate programme, delivered by Festivals Edinburgh, on behalf of Edinburgh’s festivals, British Council Scotland, and Creative Scotland. It provides a dynamic platform for key cultural players from across the world to engage and build relationships with Edinburgh’s festivals, the wider Scottish cultural sector, and the international community that flocks to our city during the summer festivals season.
Momentum 2025 will welcome 8 international delegations, each hosted by one of the Momentum partners. The International Industry Coordinators will work closely with the hosts and the international delegates to schedule their itinerary in advance of their visit and to manage changes and additions while they are in Edinburgh.
We are looking for someone super-organised and unflappable, with an understanding of Edinburgh’s festivals, great communication skills, and experience of juggling complex schedules.
A second International Industry Co-ordinator post will be advertised in May to start in July.
